Black Isn't Just Black

After an exercise of lucid dream, Standing Eagle, a shaman from New Mexico, asked all participants to imagine a colour. Then he startet to ask everybody: "What colour have you seen?" And everybody saw green, blue or even rainbow colours, except of me. I only saw black. I thought, I made a mistake. When he came to ask me, I refused to answer him. But he insisted softly: "Please tell me, what colour have you seen." - "I saw only black", I answered shyly. Then he leant forward, his face very close to my face. His eyes locked into mine, when he said: "Black is a colour of a shaman."
